Screenings: I offer complimentary 15-minute phone calls or brief in-office speech screenings to help families determine the next best steps for their child. These initial conversations are an opportunity to discuss your concerns, review developmental history, and decide the appropriate next steps. The process is designed to be low-pressure and informative. Screenings and consultations are available by appointment both in-person, by phone, and virtually.
(NEW!) Babble Bootcamp™ is a research-based parent coaching program designed to help babies build strong communication skills from birth to 24 months. Through short, playful daily routines, parents learn how to nurture early sounds, gestures, and back-and-forth interaction — the foundation for talking. Developed by Dr. Lori Delaney Chiron and validated through clinical research, Babble Bootcamp teaches parents how to recognize and respond to their baby’s earliest communication cues. Stacey has been formally trained in the Babble Bootcamp™ approach, and is happy to offer this program both in-person and virtually throughout California.

Speech Therapy: Stacey has provided direct speech therapy in homes, schools, and her clinic for more than 20 years, offering individualized, evidence-based support for children and families. Her approach centers on each child’s unique needs and family priorities, using a holistic lens to nurture communication, connection, and confidence. Session length and frequency are collaboratively determined based on goals, prognosis, budget, and availability. Caregiver participation is strongly encouraged in every session to support skill generalization and empower families with practical strategies that carry over beyond the therapy room. Stacey specializes in the following areas for speech therapy: motor speech disorders (apraxia and dysarthria), preliteracy development (phonological and phonemic awareness), severe articulation and phonological disorders, and early intervention. When appropriate, Stacey also offers small group (2 children) therapy sessions.
Speech Clubs: Stacey has led a variety of speech clubs since 2012, serving toddlers, preschoolers/kindergarteners, and school-aged children in small, supportive group settings. Each club is tailored to the children’s needs and may focus on skill generalization, speech sound practice, building confidence, strengthening social connections, or supporting pre-literacy development. Sessions are supported by Stacey with trained volunteers and SLPAs, typically with a 1:2 or 1:3 ratio, and are capped at five children to ensure individualized attention. Clubs take place on weekends for 2–3 hours and blend therapeutic goals with hands-on fun through crafts, building projects, stories, games, and other engaging activities. Speech Clubs are generally offered for 4 weeks at a time.

Consultations
Stacey offers individualized consultation for parents, schools, teams, and providers to help determine the most appropriate next steps in a child’s communication journey. These sessions can occur once or on an ongoing basis and are often especially valuable for families seeking a second opinion or clarity on what to prioritize. Consultations may include parent education, IEP/IFSP review and recommendations, collaboration with your child’s team, or attendance at meetings. Stacey also provide guidance related to schools, insurance, regional centers, and referrals to other professionals when needed. Families frequently use this service to make sense of available options and move forward with confidence and clarity. Please inquire HERE.

Speech Therapy Intensives
Speech therapy intensives offer a highly focused treatment option for children who would benefit from targeted work on one to three specific goals within a dedicated timeframe. Scheduling is customized around the child’s needs, goals, and family availability, and may include formats such as twice-daily sessions for five days or three sessions per week over several weeks. This model is often ideal for families who live outside of Los Angeles or who are seeking specialist support in addition to their local provider. Due to the individualized planning involved, intensives are usually scheduled months in advance.

Speaking Engagements
Stacey has been guest speaking since 2015 on topics related to early intervention, speech sound disorders, autism, communication strategies, and screen-time. She has trained thousands of professionals and parents nationwide. In 2020 Stacey created Coach2Coach, an online community platform with trainings and live events to support professionals with their caregiver coaching work in early intervention. In 2024, Stacey and her colleague Laura Baskell-Smith, MA, CCC-SLP developed a training and support group (Apraxia Space) for families of children with childhood apraxia of speech. Between these two projects, Stacey has cultivated a library of over 50 hours of training materials. You can learn more about Stacey’s past and ongoing speaking engagements HERE. Assessments and IEEs
I offer Speech-Language Assessments and Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs) for families or school teams who are seeking greater clarity regarding a speech sound disorder diagnosis and appropriate intervention planning. My evaluations provide an in-depth analysis of a child’s speech production system with careful attention to differential diagnosis among childhood apraxia of speech (CAS), dysarthria, articulation disorder, and phonological impairment. My goal with IEEs is to help families and schools understand the underlying nature of a student’s speech difficulties and to identify the most effective evidence-based treatment approach for effective treatment planning.
Payment
Stacey will furnish a superbill compatible with all insurance types. Generally, only PPOs will offer partial reimbursement for out-of-network providers, contingent upon the plan and deductible. Payment options are restricted to electronic methods, such as HSA Cards, Credit, and Debit. Stacey doesn’t engage directly with your insurance.
